Spring 2014 Collections
Here are some of my faves...
BCBG MAX AZRIA SPRING
2014 RTW
"With neutral palette of whites, chambrays, blushes and black
the BCBG girl looked to the seventies but retained her urban femininity. Bits
of snakeskin, vibrant florals, and some mixed prints offered jolts of color and
pattern. The inspiration… traditional
tailoring and classic silhouettes. The
models were given tousled messy waves and barely there makeup, reinforcing the
easy going seventies." Click Here to read the full story and take a closer look at the collection.
LISA PERRY SPRING 2014 RTW
“Perry upped her game this season, taking a significant risk
that largely paid off. Instead of her usual Pop Art influences and bright
colors, she opted for an all-white collection that was heavy on modern dresses
in racy, straight silhouettes.”
NICHOLAS K SPRING 2014 RTW
"An adventurous vibe centered on fluid in lightweight fabrics
for women, and more utilitarian basics for men. A plethora of maxidresses, loose
sweaters worn with cotton shorts, a women’s khaki hooded parka with contrasting
cotton sleeves and a men’s washed leather jacket with cotton intarsia, added a
cool, urban touch." Click Here to take a closer look.
ROBERT RODRIGUEZ SPRING 2014 RTW
"For his 10th anniversary collection, Robert Rodriguez
incorporated painstakingly crafted embellishments onto his signature
architectural shapes. The decorative
aspects played up Rodriguez’s “African Tribes to Futuristic Warriors” theme
while still allowing his more simple tailored pieces to shine." Click Here to ready more...
