STEP BY STEP MAKEUP TUTORIAL ON HOW TO CONTOUR AND HIGHLIGHT YOUR FACE

Kim Kardashian rocks this look so here are a few pictures of her, before it all gets blended in. Personally I like the more dramatic effect so I will do what the "drag queens" do and also highlight around the nose and mouth as in the pictures below.

A few quick tips...

Instead of purchasing two different shades of concealer - one for highlighting and one for contouring - you can simply purchase your lightest shade (highlighter), then add some bronzing powder or brown matte eyeshadow (no sparkle!) and mix them together to make the concealer several shades darker for your contouring.

For those of you not trying to conceal dark under eye circles, you can also get by with using only base foundation.  Just like above, add bronzing powder or brown matte eyeshadow to your foundation and mix to create your contouring shade.  For the highlights, pick up some white theatrical cream makeup (especially cheap around halloween) and mix a dab to lighten the shade of your base foundation.

To set the under eye and other highlighted areas - instead of purchasing a second lighter shade of loose powder - try using baby powder.

Lastly, make sure to wash your face real good at the end of the night as this 'full-coverage' look requires a bit more makeup than some of you may be use to wearing and we don't want any breakouts!
