Alice in Wonderland is an upcoming 2010 fantasy film release directed by the incomparable Tim Burton in a twisted big screen adaption of the Lewis Carroll 1865 timeless fairytale novels Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. The film will use a unique technique combining live-action, CGI, motion capture technology and stop motion. The film will be released in Disney Digital 3-D and IMAX 3-D, as well as 2-D. The film stars one of the biggest box-office stars of his generation, Johnny Depp (as the Mad Hatter), along with Helena Bonham Carter (as the Red Queen) and Anne Hathaway (as the White Queen). The film marks the unprecedented seventh collaboration between Tim Burton and Johnny Depp.
